What is it?

SGG COOL-LITE is a solar control glass, which blocks up to 2/3 of heat by reflecting it to the outside. It can be used in conservatory roofs or south-facing patio doors, for example, to help keep the interior cooler during hot months. The glass has a microscopically thin coating on one face which provides an attractive appearance and reduces glare from direct sunlight..

Advantages

  • Keeps your conservatory cooler during sunny spells by reflecting heat back to the outside.
  • More environmentally-friendly cooling solution with less need for costly air-conditioning or blinds.
  • Gently filters light to reduce uncomfortable glare from direct sun rays, whilst still allowing in plenty of natural light.
  • Allows you to make use of your conservatory all-year round.

Where can it be used?

  • Conservatory roofs
  • Large areas of glazing where overheating is a problem.

For overhead applications it is recommended that SGG COOL-LITE is combined with a safety glass on the internal pane.
